Shortly after reviewing all the surgeries and issues that Kaya has (we've done this so many times that it becomes second nature after a while) we entered the same room where we were told of the many problems Kaya was going to have and that she had a 1% chance to survive after birth. It was surreal being in the same place...except the news this time was quite different. Our baby is doing GREAT, and nothing abnormal can be detected (except that it's related to me, of course). We are very excited!!
Oh yeah, we don't know what we're having either...boy or girl, the baby's still coming home to a pink room to share with Kaya.

After great in depth review, we believe we have discovered that he may be a she, and that pink will be just fine.
I agree with joeb. Besides - Grant - I don't know how you'd really allow a son of yours to come live in a "pink" room. It would be weird :)
Well, I hate to break the girl vibe here, but I'm pretty sure the baby's a boy. Better paint at least one wall blue before he comes...or you could just find out and save yourselves the trouble of having to paint/repaint. Just a thought...
Glad to hear that everything is going good with this baby!! We have have our appt. next month to see what the twins will be! Although both Jake and I are pretty excited to see, so we might go to the mall tomorrow and get one of those 3-d ultra sounds. : )
We aren't patient enough to wait.
Congrats! Can't believe you're not finding out what you're having! Gutsy....maybe we'll do that once we have one of each...here's hoping!
Congrats on the great ultrasound news! Are you purposely not finding out boy-or-girl, or was the baby uncooperative?
I'm with you...don't find out...it's more fun that way on the big day!
hey, i'm about to stop checking your blog again...BIGLERS!
